Snowdrop time

Snowdrops are now in full bloom.
Native to the west of England and Wales, snowdrops are associated with abbeys and churchyards, and are a Roman Catholic symbol of Candlemas, as they are normally in flower around 2nd February, the date of the festival. 
They were also planted to mark a line to outside privies in the Wychwood area.
